q. How and when should I book?
a. As soon as you have decided that you would like to commission Spit & Giggle to photograph your children, call us to book. It is never too soon to book, especially if you have a particular date you would like to secure. You have 7 days to make your payment in order to secure your session time.
q. I am pregnant and would like to book your “Welcome to the World” package. How far in advance should I book?
a. Maternity sessions are best held during the eighth month of pregnancy, though we are happy to photograph your new shape at any time. Newborns are best photographed within their first 10 days of life. When you book your maternity session, tell us your expected due date and we’ll reserve a time frame for you, then just phone us once your baby is born.
q. I need to cancel my appointment, is my fee refundable?
a. Session fees are non-refundable, however it is transferable to another date, at no additional cost, if 24 hours notice is given.
q. How do I prepare for a session?
a. Once you have booked a photography session with Spit & Giggle, we will arrange a time for our photographer to come to your home for a pre-session consultation. Our photographer will talk you through how to prepare for a session, what to do, how to have your home and what to wear. A few tips to start with though: make sure you are comfortable in what you are wearing, have at least one change of clothing on hand and make sure your home is neat and tidy. |
q. What is the best age to photograph?
a. All ages are wonderful to photograph, though all are completely different. Newborns are best photographed in the first 10 days of their lives, their little fingers and toes, their wispy hair and new skin. Babies are beautiful, the time when they are starting to learn, when they are sitting, sucking their toes and blossoming with personality. Toddlers are a ball of fun, they are becoming little people, exploring and excited by everything around them and children are strong in character, happy and playful. No matter what age your child, Spit & Giggle will capture beautiful images for you to treasure.
q. How do I pay?
a. We accept cash, cheque, direct deposit or credit card payment via PayPal.
q. How long after I order will I receive my images?
a. Please allow up to 6 weeks for orders containing coffee-table books and canvas prints. Loose prints and framed prints will be delivered within 2 weeks.

A stunning contemporary presentation of your images, the coffee-table books are printed on premium silk-finish 170 gsm paper, each page is custom designed using a mix of single images, montages and text to create a beautifully bound collection of images for you to enjoy forever.
